The Transportation Assistant Planner will seek out data, create visual tools and maps to aid in transportation planning documents and grant applications. Additionally, this position requires the ability to collect, compile and analyze a wide variety of data, to communicate in writing and in public settings and to facilitate and coordinate public outreach activities. The ideal candidate for Multimodal Principal Planner will work on various local and regional plans, studies and analysis for Bike/Ped, transit, Trails and other livability planning focus areas. The Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission, serving 40 communities in southern Worcester County including the City of Worcester, seeks a Public Health Regional Trainer within the agency’s Regional Collaboration and Community Planning Department. The Public Health Regional Trainer will support CMRPC’s Public Health Training Hub to conduct applied training in Food Safety, Housing, Septic Systems & Title 5, and various other public health inspections to local and regional public health staff. This position will work closely with the Public Health Training Manager, with local public health officials across Central Massachusetts and will work in partnership with the DPH Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH).
