The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for an Addressing Coordinator position within the Planning Division. This new position will support the implementation of a decade long interdepartmental effort to modernize the City’s addressing system. The position is responsible for coordinating address assignments and performing maintenance and change tracking with all address-using departments and agencies. Primary responsibilities include analysis and updates of spatial data related to addressing to ensuring accuracy in the MAR database and ArcGIS as well applying address guidelines and coordinating updates to SOPs.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in geography, GIS, planning, urban studies, computer science, or related discipline; OR
o Associates degree with two (2) years of professional experience in a related field and a certificate in geospatial technologies will be considered in lieu of the above requirement
· Proficient with computers and ArcGIS
· Experience reviewing maps and/or development plans
· Experience conducting research, querying records, analyzing data, and managing data and processes in an academic and/or professional setting
· Experience working with the public providing Customer Service
SALARY RANGE: $68,520 – $89,768 annually, full-time, exempt, with an excellent benefits package.
